SubTracker — Privacy Policy

SubTracker is privacy-first. There are no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking. The subscriptions and bills you add are stored only on your device. If you enable cloud backup, an end-to-end encrypted copy is stored in your own Google Drive — we never receive it. We run no servers that hold your data.

The following is created by you and stored only on your device:

• Subscription and bill names, amounts, currencies, billing cycles, and renewal dates
• Categories, notes, and paused/active status you set
• App settings and preferences (such as your default currency and theme)

• No account registration, no email, no phone number
• No analytics, telemetry, or usage metrics
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers
• No location data, contacts, SMS, call logs, or photos
• No server-side copy of your data

If you choose to sign in with Google and enable cloud backup, SubTracker encrypts your data locally and uploads the encrypted blob to the hidden, per-app appDataFolder of your own Google Drive. This folder is private to the app and is not visible to other apps or in your normal Drive view. We never see your backup — it lives entirely within your own Google account.

To show amounts in your chosen currency, SubTracker fetches live exchange rates from a third-party rates provider. Only currency codes are requested — no personal or subscription data is sent.

SubTracker offers optional premium features via Google Play Billing. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play — we never see your payment method, card number, or billing address. Google provides us only with an anonymous token confirming a valid purchase. Google’s handling of payment data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

• Notifications — optional renewal reminders, scheduled on-device only (no push server).
• Internet — only for live exchange rates, optional Google Drive backup, and Play Store billing.

SubTracker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data about children.

Because SubTracker does not collect or retain any personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You can delete all data by uninstalling the app, and you can revoke Drive access and delete any backup at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

We retain no user data. There is no server to hold anything. Uninstalling the app wipes your local data; deleting the optional Drive backup removes the rest.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. Material changes will be announced in the app’s release notes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
