ToolBox — Privacy Policy

ToolBox processes your files on your device — they are not uploaded to us. There is no account. The free version is supported by Google AdMob ads, which may use an advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. A one-time in-app purchase removes ads. We run no servers that store your files.

The documents, images, audio, and video you open, scan, convert, or edit in ToolBox are processed locally on your device. ToolBox does not upload your files to our servers — we operate none. Outputs are saved where you choose, on your device.

The free version of ToolBox shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect a mobile advertising identifier and limited device and usage information. This is governed by Google’s advertising and privacy policies (policies.google.com/privacy). Purchasing the one-time “remove ads” option stops ToolBox from requesting ads.

You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.

ToolBox offers a one-time purchase to remove ads via Google Play Billing. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play — we never see your payment method, card number, or billing address.

A few tools (such as currency conversion) fetch reference data from a third-party service over the internet. Only the minimal query needed (for example, currency codes) is sent — never the personal contents of your files.

Each permission is used only for the feature it enables:

• Camera — to scan documents and QR/barcodes. Images are processed on-device.
• Storage / files — to open the files you choose and save the results.
• Internet — for ads (free version), online conversions, and Play Store billing.

• No account registration, no email, no phone number
• No copies of your files sent to us
• No location data, contacts, SMS, or call logs

ToolBox is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data about children.

We hold no personal data about you on any server, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. For ad-related data handled by Google, you can manage your choices in your device’s ad settings and via Google’s controls. Uninstalling the app removes its local data.

Your files stay on your device; we retain nothing. Uninstalling the app removes ToolBox’s local data.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. Material changes will be announced in the app’s release notes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
